Punta Prima may offer one of the most beautiful seafront locations on the Costa Blanca.
Dubbed the 'jewel of the Costa Blanca' and 'one of the Costa Blanca's undiscovered secrets it is easy to see why.

If you turn off the Punta Prima roundabout on the N332 and drive along the palm tree lined street, you will find a restaurant called the Nautilus. With a large terrace area, the restaurant overlooks the emerald blue Mediterranean Sea and white foaming spray, as it crashes against the rocks below. A vibrant pink flower grows along the rocks and buds from about April. The cooling breeze is perfect on a hot summer's afternoon and the waves are mesmerising.

To the left you can clearly see Torrevieja's coastline jolting out into the vast sea. To the right a small, quaint, man made cove with white sand beckons bathers. This area is quite rocky so swimmers need to take caution. There is a safer and longer stretch further on towards Playa Flamenca.

The walk to Punta Prima Playa along the promenade is not only beautiful but also steeped in history. The interweaving coastline of reclining bays and sharp, jolting outline of the town create a panoramic view for miles. The promenade is quite wide and there is ample room for cyclists and people to walk their dogs.
There are also wide ranges of golf courses including Las Ramblas, Villamartin and Campoamor to name but a few.

Local areas including; Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Torrevieja, offer a wide range of restaurants, bars and other entertainment. There are 4 supermarkets in the area, all within walking distance or a 2-minute drive.
There is a large outdoor market in nearby Playa Flamenca every Saturday. Punta Prima is an excellent location for children. There is a water park in Torrevieja called Aquopolis (18.50euro for adults and 12.80euro for children) there is a bowling alley with pool tables in Torrevieja and there is go-cart racing in Playa Flamenca. There are riding stables in Campoamor, that also offer lessons. There are four cities within an hours drive from Punta Prima including Alicante, Elche, Murcia and Cartagena. These are excellent tourist attractions and very good for shopping. There are two airports within close proximity including Alicante (40 minutes) and San Javier in Murcia (20 minutes). The short journeys from the UK mean you can be in Punta Prima in less than 3 hours; this is excellent for the long weekend. Benidorm is a mere 50 minute drive away and boasts attractions such as Terra Mitica theme Park and Aqualandia water park. It also has beautiful beaches, a huge market and hundreds of bars and restaurants. Coach trips for about 10 euros per head drop passengers of in Benidorm and pick them up again in the evening from Torrevieja.
